Beloved Ministries is inspired by Isaiah 61.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the Lord
for the display of his splendor.
This passage is the very heart of Beloved Ministries and is our guiding light for all we do.
Our desire, first and foremost, is to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Without Him, our efforts will fall short and our gains will be merely temporary. Through Him, we seek to bind up the brokenhearted; to proclaim freedom to those who feel trapped or in bondage; to shine the light of God’s grace into the dark places of hurting lives; to comfort those who mourn; and to provide help for those who grieve.
Acknowledging Jesus Christ allows us to exchange ashes for beauty, mourning for gladness, and despair for praise. God longs to rebuild, restore, and renew our lives. In fact, He promises to do so, and we wish to share the hope of this promise.
We can testify that when we allow God to have control over our lives, He rewards us. He removes our shame and offers us a double portion of His grace and favor. He transforms our disgrace into rejoicing, and he grants us everlasting joy.
Why would God do this work? Because He loves justice and He is faithful. He offers us salvation and righteousness through Jesus Christ.
Our prayer is that through Beloved Ministries, women will encounter Christ, connect with others, and experience God’s goodness as He takes lives from a cavern of despair and brokenness into a palace of hope and life.
